Supported by environmental leaders like Patagonia, Kernza has moved from experimental crop to consumer product, demonstrating how regenerative agriculture can restore soil health while producing sustainable food and beverages. Through the lens of craft brewing, the film highlights how innovative farming practices could help reshape the future of agriculture.

Kelly G. Sallaway is an Emmy-winning producer specializing in unscripted content and documentary storytelling. Her work focuses on environmental and social issues, highlighting innovative solutions to global challenges. Her docuseries Prisoner of the Prophet is available on Discovery+ and HBO Max. Sallaway is currently directing Prairie Prophecy, a feature documentary exploring natural systems agriculture and the scientists and thought leaders working to transform the way we farm and feed the world.
