The documentary showcases initiatives launched during the pandemic and sustained beyond it, strengthening the local food system through urban agriculture, food access programs, and community-driven solutions. It offers a compelling look at how cities can build resilience and equity through sustainable food practices.

Director
John Clifford Wright is a filmmaker, cinematographer, and media producer originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, now based in Arizona and California. With over 15 years of experience, his documentary work focuses on powerful storytelling through interviews that explore belief systems, identity, and human experience.

His projects span a wide range of subjects, including faith, environmental issues, social justice, and community culture. His Good Food Film Series for Local First Arizona became a PBS special, reflecting his commitment to impactful, community-centered storytelling.
