Film Description
Embers follows aerial artist Sasha Galitzki after a devastating wildfire destroys her home in Jasper, Alberta. As she rebuilds her life in the year following the fire, Sasha reflects on the growing environmental changes she has witnessed through her work in mountain landscapes.
The film connects her personal loss with the broader impacts of climate change, including wildfires and glacial retreat. Through powerful aerial performances set against burned landscapes and melting glaciers, Sasha channels grief, resilience, and hope into a deeply moving expression of environmental awareness and advocacy.
