Film Description

The Choice confronts the global issue of illegal dumping through the perspective of young people determined to protect their community. Set in Athlone, the film follows a group of teenagers who take action to address waste and environmental responsibility in their town.

Created by 17-year-old filmmaker James Duffy, the film highlights how youth voices are stepping forward to confront environmental challenges and inspire change within their communities.

James Duffy is a young filmmaker from Athlone whose work focuses on environmental awareness and community responsibility. Through The Choice, he offers a youth-driven perspective on the growing global issue of illegal dumping and the importance of collective action to protect local environments.
