Film Description
The Dreaming World unfolds through a series of animated vignettes layered over live-action spaces, transforming familiar environments into reimagined landscapes. Suburban streets are de-paved and rewilded, cars disappear, and once-quiet neighborhoods become vibrant with life.
Blending animation and environmental storytelling, the film envisions a future shaped by ecological restoration and creative rethinking of urban spaces, inviting audiences to imagine what a more sustainable and alive world could look like.
Director:
Alexi Scheiber is an experimental animator and multidisciplinary artist whose work has been featured in film festivals worldwide, including SUNCINE: Barcelona International Environmental Film Festival, Sweaty Eyeballs Animation Fest, and FREDD: The French International Environmental Film Festival.
