Film Description

The Little Things That Run the World introduces viewers to scientists, gardeners, farmers, and nature enthusiasts working to understand and protect one of the most important groups of organisms on Earth: flying insects. Representing nearly three-quarters of all known species, insects have long been considered the “glue of life” that holds ecosystems together. Yet in recent years, their populations have been declining at alarming rates. Through research, personal stories, and conservation efforts, the film explores the causes behind this global decline and asks what can be done to protect the tiny creatures that sustain life on our planet.
