Join award-winning wildlife filmmaker Alan Lacy for a special presentation exploring the art and process of wildlife filmmaking. In this behind-the-scenes session, Lacy shares how he plans and produces his films, from preparing for field shoots to capturing compelling footage and shaping it into powerful visual stories.
Drawing from years of experience documenting wildlife and natural landscapes, the presentation will cover filmmaking techniques, camera gear, storytelling strategies, and the challenges of working in remote environments. Attendees will gain insight into how wildlife documentaries are created and how filmmakers turn hours of field footage into meaningful stories that connect audiences with nature.
The session will also introduce Lacy’s upcoming wildlife filmmaking courses, offering guidance for aspiring filmmakers interested in learning how to shoot, produce, and distribute their own wildlife films.
