Through the voices of scientists, artists, and Indigenous communities, the film explores the wonder, cultural significance, and resilience of these ancient trees, offering powerful insights about how redwoods may help guide solutions for the future of our planet.

Director:

Lisa Landers is an award-winning filmmaker who has produced and developed programs for organizations including National Geographic Television, PBS/KQED, Smithsonian Channel, and Discovery. Her work focuses on stories that inspire awe and deepen our connection to the natural world. She is also a certified forest immersion guide and currently lives among the coast redwoods of Northern California.
