Film Description

Maji is a short experimental film that highlights the global water crisis and its devastating human impact. The word “maji,” meaning water in Swahili, becomes a powerful symbol of life, survival, and inequality. In just a few minutes, the film reflects on the reality that thousands of children die each day due to a lack of clean and safe drinking water—an issue worsened by climate change and global neglect. Through poetic imagery and symbolism, the film invites viewers to reflect on the essential role of water in sustaining life.
